D. Gangale Risoleo obtained a Ph.D. in Ancient Sciences and Archaeology from the University of Pisa and was a research fellow at the University of Calabria. He is currently an archaeologist at the Superintendency ABAP for the provinces of Catanzaro and Crotone. His research interests lie in the tradition of Ancient Topography studies, with a particular focus on the analysis of the relationship between water and urban planning.
