Emmanuelle Dumas is a doctoral student in History and Archaeology at the Université Lumière Lyon 2, and is currently in charge of archaeological research at the Institut national de recherches archéologiques préventives (INRAP) and attached to the Lyon branch of the Institut de recherche sur l'Architecture antique (Aix-Marseille Université/CNRS). She works mainly in France, and in particular in the region of Lyon, where she conducts research on the suburban spaces of the ancient city of Lugdunum.
