David Wallace-Hare is a Postdoctoral Research Associate on project MEMBRA (Understanding Memory of Treescapes for Better Resilience & Adaptation) based at the University of Exeter. An environmental historian, he holds a PhD in Classics from the University of Toronto with a focus on the connection between votive dedications and economic activities in Gaul and the Iberian Peninsula. He is an experienced charity marketer and fundraiser, and currently sits as the Chair of the Society for Classical Studies Fundraising Committee.
